About Me
HELLO WORLD! I am jazzed to be part of this exciting global industry as Woodstock’s newest Senior Travel Advisor for Enjoy Travel. This Dairy Capital has welcomed me and my Fiance, our ferrets, Cinnamon and Finnegan, and my love for all things cheese, as we continue to explore our friendly city. Over the past 12 years that I have been assisting travellers, and all the many places I have seen, one thing seems to always ring true- Nature. What a wild ride, it has been! After always having dreamt of Australia, I had to keep pinching myself when I had the opportunity to stay in a unique Eco-Lodge saddle up in the Blue Mountains on a horse while trotting through trails to view unique species like an albino Wallaroo. This special destination captured a little piece of me and propelled me forward to want to specialize in the South Pacific. Another highlight for me to heat things up was getting to hike a suspension bridge, at the foot of the Arenal Volcano in Costa Rica. I think this is when I realized that spiders and I can still co-exist, even if they are the size of my face! Onto closer to home, but certainly just as magnificent is our Canadian Rockies- WOW! After having driven across these different provinces, the activity that piqued my interest the most was Mountain Biking. What a rush, riding the edge of a cliff, and knowing some climbs were so steep that it was a hike more than a bike…ride. With only just having mentioned a sampling of the places I truly adore, nothing tops sailing through the Galapagos Islands, 1000 miles off the coast of South America, to swim with the Sea Lions. These are such playful creatures and literally, look like they are smiling when they look at you! Each island is rare in its own, some even looking like planet mars. The preservation of this wonder and friendliness of these endemic species is a reflection of the Darwinian Theory. The above destinations are just the tip of the iceberg.
